Bridge Street Books was set up in November 1999, yes over 10 years ago, by Hilary, who frankly, always wanted to set up a bookshop and share great books around!  Who remembers the little shop as it once was - what is now the Childrens' section was the front, and main, part of the shop........

In the last 10 years so much has changed, but yet so little......we have a bigger shop, more staff, but we like to think the service is as good, friendly and efficient as ever.  Our main aim is to make sure your shopping experience is just the thing you are looking for, and if there is anything we can do or change to make sure this happens, please let us know.   For our favourite reads, check out the link on the home page or keep abreast of what's hot and what's not on www.facebook.com/bridgestreetbooks and www.twitter.com/bridgebookshop

If we don't have what you're looking for, please let us know so we can order it for you.  Most titles we can have in up to 4 days (some even the next day), other, more difficult to get books may take a while.  However, if a book is in print, we can get it for you, so please do ask.
